About Us

I grew up in Ortonville and have been working in radio for over 20 years; 11 of those have been as the Chief Operator at KDIO.  I enjoy the many and varied aspects of promoting the area that I call home, and I also enjoy the opportunity to meet some of the great country music legends that can be heard on KDIO. (The picture is with  “Whisperin” Bill Anderson). I live with my son, my mom, and our two dogs, Suzie and Rowdy. Music has always been near and dear to my heart and I think being able to play the country classics and serve the community is a privilege; one that I am so happy to have the opportunity to enjoy.

I have been in radio for over 30 years, I started at KMSD Sept of 2011, and love being part of this great community. I have been married to my wife Jennie and have one daughter Jana.

In my free time, I enjoy walking, playing disc golf, hanging out with my dogs, and rooting for my favorite all-time sports team…the Chicago Cubs! Go Cubs go!

Milbank has always been home for me. My connection to radio started early — my mom worked at KMSD and had me recording commercials when I was just five years old. Because of her, I also helped with many station promotions over the years, which only strengthened my love for radio and community involvement. I joined the team in 2013, beginning in sales, and over time I’ve grown into a “Jill of all trades,” taking on tech responsibilities, engineering work, office tasks, and anything in between to help keep things moving.

I married my husband on 7/7/07, and we have three kids who keep life full and fun. When I’m not at the station, you’ll usually find me crocheting, reading, enjoying a nature walk, or cheering on my youngest at wrestling meets, baseball games, and flag football. I’m also a Minnesota Twins fan and try to get to at least one game a year!

Hey everyone – My name is Adam Dashiell and I have been with Big Stone Radio for over 20 years. I pride myself in being a jack of all trades as I fill the roles of ON AIR/ Sport Director of KDIO w/ play by play duties, Commercial Production, and as a Marketing Consultant. The variety this bring each day is what I enjoy most about my job. I love being a Dad to 2 beautiful, intelligent, and active daughters. I have been married to my wife Jeanine for over 16 years and she is my #1. Fishing and spending time at the Lake, Cooking, being involved in my kids activities, and working on my yard is what I love to do in my “Free time”. Local Radio is alive and well and I’m proud to be a part of it right here in our communities!!!

I was born and raised in Aberdeen SD. I went to Roncalli High School and went on to Northern State University and graduated with a Double major in Management and Marketing in 2012.

I got married in 2013, and we’ve since had two daughters, Everly and Ellery. In my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends, and we really like to travel.
